Sculptures by Christina West

By now you know I’m a fan of contemporary / conceptual sculpture work, especially when it involves the human form. I’m really drawn to the awkward expressions in each figure Christina West creates. There’s something about the anatomy, scale, and painting that strike a few odd notes. I’m sure experiencing these live in a space would conjure up a few feelings of discomfort.
